DESCRIPTION:Join Martindale-Brightwood CDC and the Martindale-Brightwood Quality of Life Plan Housing & Infrastructure Pillar for a community-wide Spring Cleaning Day dedicated to supporting our neighbors and strengthening our neighborhood. \nThis volunteer-driven initiative brings together residents\, volunteers\, local organizations\, and sponsors to provide yard and exterior clean-up services for seniors and residents with disabilities\, helping them start the spring season with a safer\, cleaner\, and more welcoming home environment. \nVolunteers will work in teams across the neighborhood to assist with light exterior projects and beautification efforts\, including: \n• Yard clean up and trash pick up• Raking leaves and debris removal• Gutter cleaning• Heavy lifting and hauling• General neighborhood beautification \nWe welcome volunteers of all ages and experience levels\, including individuals\, families\, churches\, student groups\, fraternities and sororities\, and local businesses looking to give back to the community. \nResidents who are 55+ or living with a disability and need assistance with outdoor clean-up are encouraged to sign up to request service. \nPlease Note: This form is used to collect interest for service requests.
