DESCRIPTION:Did you know there are five options for home repair through MBCDC? Did you know you could qualify for a grant to cover those home repair cost? MBCDC partners with the City of Indianapolis\, local financial institutions and community organizations to coordinate homeowner repairs for all residents – including roof repairs\, replacing flooring\, installing new counters and making homes accessible and safe. This is a first-come\, first-serve program based on household income. Join us for lunch as we provided additional information about our programs.

DESCRIPTION:Do you live within the city limits\, but wonder how you can become a farmer?  Ever wonder what qualifies you as a farmer and the cost?  Do you want to learn your history as farmers and encourage your children and extended family members to become farmers?\nThe Financial Farmer will be giving us a new outlook on our relationship between money\, health\, quality of life and farming. During this workshop you will learning the meaning of self-sustainability; what a farm masterplan consists of; benefits of becoming a farmer; obtaining a farm number; and the cost. This working lunch and labor of love workshop will enhance you\, your family\, and your community in agriculture.
